Now back in South Africa at your favorite kite boarding destination, Cape Town. Eric Groenewoud from Catapult Kiteboarding has started his own kite repair service. With several years of experience in Australia and 6 years of kite production and kite designs for Catapult Kiteboarding the goal is to provide quality repairs on all kites for all brands and have them back on the water within 24 hours if needed.

Drop your dry clean kite and we will repair it within 24 hours and at times even faster. Wet and sandy kites will take a bit longer, a R 50 to R 100 fee applys for cleaning and drying your kite. We are centrually located in Tableview close to the best kite spots in the Table bay area, this minimizes travel time getting your fixed kite out on the water in no time.Bladder repairs might take a bit longer as they require pressure testing.

Not able to drop your kite off at the workshop? Here are the options:

Print out the PDF form and fill it out with all the details of your kite repair and your personal details. E-mail this form back to us with some pictures of your kite so we can give you a more accurate quote for what the repair is going to cost. The kite can be posted to our shop with SA post or with a courier service of your choice. We use TIMEFREIGHT to mail it back if you don't have your own courier to pick it up.

For anything between PE and CT you can contact Rydall Staples on 083-5011328 as he drives up 2 times a week and collects and delivers to your door at very competative pricing. (Ryd-All-Over Logitics)

They charge R 38.50 for 7.5 KG in Tableview area and R 1.00 per KG over 7.5 kg.

Registered overnight Speed couriers is also a good option. If however you want to save some costs then have a look at the full range of KITEFIX products to repair your own kite. Shipping is free on these items nation wide. Or get some from a dealer in your area. Check the dealer page here. Note that we are NOT using the Kitefix range to repair your kite in the workshop, but use Dacron and polyester canopy cloth in combination with polyester thread and sewing machines. This way the repair will be lighter and less visible keeping the resale value of your kite as high as possible. Kitefix is however the perfect solution to keep your kite in action untill you have time to get it repaired by a pro.

Only post what needs fixing. Leave your bag and bar at home if they don't need to be fixed.
