Why take the gamble when spending your hard earned cash on a used kite!

At FIXAKITE we offer a new service for the second hand market. Its called "Kite Check" and is a total quality check for your used kite before you sell it or before you buy somebody's kite. For R 250 your kite, bar, bag and pump will get a complete check on anything from bladder to lines. The trained eye of a repair guy spots more then the average kiter. Pressure testing, seam checking, Canopy wear and tear checking will be done by us before you buy or sell something that you might regret later.

After the check you will get a your certificate that goes with your kites serial number and will be dated. All points will be ticked of and notified what the condition is of the checked kite. Anything that might need some attention on the kite will be noted or potentially fixed if needed when agreed by the owner. If there are repairs to be done the "Kite Check" fee will fall away and you just pay for the repair. All checks are guaranteed for 1 month and if anything breaks on the kite that is not due to crashing or washing will be covered for R 250 discount on the repair. So its a win win for everybody. For example: If a valve starts leaking within the month after the Kite Check has been done you will not be charged for the fix. Same goes for seams that come loose or a popped bladder. Normal wear and tear like the depower line and flying lines are off course not covered.

This service will make selling the kite easier as its a safer buy for the new customer because its checked and OK-ed by an independent person. New people to the sport will have a safer buy without hidden problems and less likely be surprised by material failure. For an additional R 150 we will also personally fly the kite to make sure there is no pulling to the side and the kite is stable in the air.

Before somebody buys the kite they can call us to check when the test was done and confirm the serial numbers. It is also a notification to us to activate the repair voucher warranty within the 1 month time span from the test date.
